The Department of Health Management established its graduate program within the Institute of Social Sciences in the 2018–2019 Academic Year. In 2021, following the merger of all graduate institutes at Yozgat Bozok University under a single administrative structure, the program became part of the Graduate Education Institute.
The program is designed to educate highly qualified healthcare management professionals who can develop effective solutions to managerial challenges in the healthcare sector. Students receive comprehensive education in areas such as healthcare systems and policies, organizational behavior, human resource management, financial management, health economics, quality management, ethics, and healthcare law.
Graduates of the program are awarded the degree of Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Health Management. They are qualified to pursue careers as researchers, specialists, auditors, and managers, and may serve in middle- and senior-level management positions within public and private healthcare organizations. Employment opportunities are also available in institutions such as the Social Security Institution (SSI), the Ministry of Health, universities, health insurance companies, and pharmaceutical companies. In addition, graduates develop expertise in health economics and health insurance, enabling them to meet the growing demand for qualified healthcare managers in these fields.
