Double Major and Minor Programs

In accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs at Higher Education Institutions, Double Major Programs, Minor Programs, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfers, the qualifications and required documents for students applying for admission through the Double Major Program (DMP) and Minor Program for the Spring Semester of the 2024–2025 Academic Year are provided below.

Application and Admission Requirements for the Double Major Program

To apply for a Double Major Program (DMP), students must:

  • Have successfully completed all courses in their major program up to the semester in which they apply.

  • Have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.72.

  • Rank within the top 20% of their class in their major program and have no disciplinary suspension record.

  • Students who are not within the top 20% of their class may also apply if their university entrance examination score is equal to or higher than the minimum admission score of the double major program for the relevant admission year.

Application Periods

Applications may be submitted during the following periods:

  • Undergraduate students applying to an undergraduate double major program:

    • Earliest: Beginning of the 3rd semester

    • Latest:

      • Beginning of the 5th semester (four-year programs)

      • Beginning of the 7th semester (five-year programs)

      • Beginning of the 9th semester (six-year programs)

  • Associate degree students applying to an associate degree double major program:

    • Earliest: Beginning of the 2nd semester

    • Latest: Beginning of the 3rd semester

  • Undergraduate students applying to an associate degree double major program:

    • Earliest: Beginning of the 2nd semester

    • Latest: Beginning of the 5th semester

Application and Admission Requirements for the Minor Program

Students may apply to a Minor Program:

  • No earlier than the beginning of the 3rd semester, and

  • No later than the beginning of the 6th semester of their undergraduate major program.

To be eligible for admission, students must:

  • Have successfully completed all credit-bearing courses in their major program up to the semester of application.

  • Have a minimum CGPA of 2.50.

  • Have no disciplinary suspension record.
