Accreditation Activities

Dear Stakeholders,

As the Department of Health Management at Yozgat Bozok University, we have officially initiated our accreditation application process with the Association for the Evaluation and Accreditation of Health Management Education Programs (SAYAK). This process represents an important milestone in ensuring that our educational activities are systematically evaluated according to national quality standards and continuously improved through an institutional quality assurance approach.

2025–2026 Spring Semester Stakeholder Meeting

To support the continuous improvement of our educational processes and obtain valuable stakeholder feedback, an online Stakeholder Meeting was held on 5 June 2026 at 11:30 a.m. The meeting was attended by faculty members from various universities, hospital administrators, and other departmental stakeholders.

The meeting focused on the following topics:

  • Review of the Department's mission, vision, program outcomes, and educational objectives;

  • Evaluation of the Health Management curriculum;

  • Current and planned Erasmus+ activities;

  • Development of collaborative academic and practice-oriented initiatives with other universities.

Participants shared valuable opinions, recommendations, and suggestions that will contribute to the continuous development of the Department.

2025–2026 Fall Semester Stakeholder Meeting

An online Stakeholder Meeting was held on 20 January 2026 at 11:00 a.m. to strengthen stakeholder engagement and support the continuous enhancement of the Department's educational activities.

The meeting brought together faculty members from different universities, hospital administrators, and departmental stakeholders. Discussions focused on:

  • Reviewing the Department's mission, vision, educational objectives, and program outcomes;

  • Evaluating the undergraduate curriculum;

  • Reviewing ongoing and planned Erasmus+ activities;

  • Expanding academic and practice-oriented collaborations with partner universities.

Stakeholder feedback and recommendations were carefully evaluated as part of the Department's quality improvement efforts.

 

2025–2026 Fall Semester Advisory Board Meeting

The Department of Health Management organized an Advisory Board Meeting with the participation of industry representatives and academics from various universities.

During the meeting, participants thoroughly reviewed the updated Professional Practice in Hospital Settings Guidelines and the Department's Five-Year Strategic Plan. The discussions resulted in valuable academic and professional recommendations that will support the Department's strategic development and continuous quality enhancement.

2024–2025 Spring Semester End-of-Semester Evaluation Meeting

The Department held its End-of-Semester Evaluation Meeting for the 2024–2025 Spring Semester with the participation of faculty members and students.

The meeting provided an opportunity to evaluate the academic semester, discuss strategies for improving educational quality, and identify initiatives to further support student success through continuous improvement.

Alumni–Student Meeting

On 28 May 2025, the Department of Health Management organized an online Alumni–Student Meeting.

During the event, distinguished alumni shared their professional experiences and career journeys with current students:

  • Yasemin Özdemir – Patient Services Registration Officer, Medicana Konya Hospital

  • Merve Yılmaz – Graduate Student

  • Aybüke Kaya – Healthcare Professional, Saraykent Şehit Beytullah Yeşilay District State Hospital

The event enabled students to gain valuable career insights and learn from the practical experiences of Department graduates.

Professional Practice in Healthcare Institutions Meeting

Fourth-year students of the Department successfully completed their Professional Practice in Healthcare Institutions course through field-based training in healthcare organizations.

Following the completion of the placement period, an evaluation meeting was held with academic supervisors. During the meeting, students reflected on their professional experiences, while faculty members provided constructive feedback and guidance to support students' professional development.

Internal and External Stakeholder Meeting

As part of its quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, the Department organized an Internal and External Stakeholder Meeting involving academic staff, students, alumni, representatives of healthcare institutions, and industry stakeholders.

The meeting included comprehensive discussions on:

  • The Department's mission, vision, and core values;

  • Program learning outcomes;

  • Educational objectives;

  • Curriculum review and development.

The recommendations and feedback received from stakeholders will continue to guide the Department's ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and maintain alignment with national accreditation standards.
