The qualifications required of companies and institutions where students of the Department of Transportation Services may complete their summer internship are as follows:

1. The company or institution must be a private-sector enterprise or public institution/organization whose main field of activity, or one of its business activities, is related to at least one of the following areas: manufacturing of rail system vehicles (locomotives, railway cars, metro vehicles, trams, etc.), mechanical maintenance and repair, production of rail system machinery and components, machining, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, railway maintenance machinery, or other areas related to rail systems and mechanical technologies.
2. Private-sector workplaces must operate as an established corporate enterprise.
3. At least one active employee who has graduated from an information technologies-related program at the secondary education, associate degree, or bachelor's degree level must be employed at the workplace.
4. In workplaces operating night shifts, the company or institution must ensure that internship students work only during daytime shifts.

Required Documents for the Internship

• Internship Acceptance Form and Agreement – to be prepared in three (3) copies
• Social Security Eligibility Certificate – to be obtained through the e-Government (e-Devlet) system
• Internship Logbook
• IME–Internship Employer Evaluation Form
