On Monday, December 27, 2021, at 13:00, our department participated in a tree-planting event jointly organized by Sorgun Vocational School, Sorgun District Directorate of Agriculture, and Sorgun District Directorate of Forestry. As part of the event, 2,022 saplings were planted on the campus grounds, including one sapling for each student and academic staff member of our department.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2022, the Rail Systems Mechanical Technology Program organized a technical visit to the facilities of the Turkish Railway Machines Industry Inc. (TÜDEMSAŞ) in Sivas.
