Our Mission
The mission of our programme is to provide students with high-quality education and training in line with national and international standards, equipping them with the technical skills required by the railway systems sector. We aim to train sought-after technicians who can apply their knowledge to the operation, maintenance, repair and fault diagnosis of the mechanical and electromechanical systems of locomotives, wagons and coaches, metro, tram and light rail vehicles. Our graduates are expected to develop safe and effective solutions to the technical problems they encounter, adhere to occupational health and safety rules and professional ethics, work well in teams, think critically, pursue continuous self-improvement and express their ideas clearly. In doing so, we seek to strengthen cooperation with the sector and contribute to regional and national development and to science.
Our Vision
The vision of our programme is to become a reputable and preferred education, training and research unit at national and international level. We aim to follow technological developments in railway systems closely, stand out through hands-on training and industry partnerships, have a well-established institutional identity and culture, and continuously renew itself.
