Admission to the Undergraduate Program in Horticulture
The admission process for the Horticulture Undergraduate Program is carried out through several methods:
1. Through the National University Entrance Exam (YKS):
Students are placed in the program based on their scores and preferences in the YKS exam, organized by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center). The student quotas are determined by ÖSYM. For more information about the YKS exam, please visit the official website of ÖSYM.

2. Through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS):
Graduates of relevant programs from vocational schools can also be placed in our department through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) organized by ÖSYM. For each student admitted, courses taken at the associate degree level are evaluated based on their content and credits, and adjustments are made after exemptions are granted according to the relevant decision of the University Senate.

3. Through Horizontal Transfer:
Students from the Horticulture Department or similarly named programs at universities recognized by YÖK (Council of Higher Education) for equivalency may apply for horizontal transfer to our department. Applications for horizontal transfer are made in accordance with the rules announced by YÖK. Quotas and application conditions are announced on the Yozgat Bozok University website.
