Accreditation Process of the Construction Technology Program
The Construction Technology Program at Sorgun Vocational School officially applied for the MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Quality Improvement Association) accreditation process as of the January 2025 application period. The application was submitted online through MEDEK’s official website.
In February, our program was informed by MEDEK that the application had been positively accepted. This development was considered an important step toward documenting and enhancing the quality of education provided by our program.
In order to ensure that the accreditation process was carried out in a transparent and participatory manner, various informational meetings were organized with internal and external stakeholders, students, and academic staff. During these meetings, discussions were held regarding the importance of accreditation, the process procedures, and the expectations from all stakeholders.
The Site Evaluation Visit, which represents the final stage of the accreditation process, was successfully completed in November.
As the Construction Technology Program of Sorgun Vocational School, we have been awarded the "Full Accreditation" certificate, which is valid for the period from 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2029.
