Establishment
The foundation of our association was initiated with the aim of contributing to the development of qualified human resources within the framework of Türkiye’s strategic development plans, with the encouragement and support of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) to improve the quality of vocational schools and their graduates.
With this motivation and the support of universities, the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK) was established in 2021. In order to evaluate the compliance of vocational school programs with predefined standards, quality criteria, and performance indicators, our association was granted accreditation authority by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK) in 2023 for 83 vocational school programs.
