The Department of Archaeology was established in Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 2010 and started to accept students for the first time in the 2017-2018 academic year. Currently, there are eight lecturers in our department, including one Associate Professor, four Assistant Professor, two Research Assistant Doctors and one Research Assistant. The field of study of the department include Prehistory, Protohistory and Near Eastern Archaeology and Classical Archaeology. The faculty members of our department carry out important studies in line with their fields of expertise. In addition to the basic courses, specialization information is also presented to the students. Our department has two classrooms and one laboratory. In addition to the publications and e-resources within Yozgat Bozok University Central Library, which are open to students' use, online publications can also be accessed through links to different databases. This makes it easier for our students to access the documents.
