The primary mission of the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Communication, Yozgat Bozok University, is to:

  • - educate journalists with strong critical thinking skills;
  • - encourage innovative approaches and foster awareness of universal values and human rights;
  • - promote commitment to professional principles and ethical standards in journalism;
  • - equip students with the skills to produce oral, written, and visual content across physical and digital media platforms;
  • - provide students with the skills required to keep pace with technological developments in journalism and use emerging technologies effectively.
