Our Faculty has a News Workshop where students can put the knowledge and skills they acquire during their education into practice. The News Workshop operates as a newsroom and provides students with opportunities to gain practical experience in news production. Genç Baskı, the Faculty’s student newspaper, is published online at gazete.bozok.edu.tr. Students produce written and video news content for the digital newspaper and have the opportunity to publish their work. Genç Baskı is also published in print, with two issues released each academic semester.

The News Workshop also provides practical training in radio journalism. News bulletins for the University radio station are prepared by our students. The collaboration between the University radio station and the News Workshop enables students to become familiar with professional journalism practices and gain experience in a newsroom environment.

Through extensive practical training in traditional and digital journalism, students develop the knowledge and professional skills required in contemporary media environments. These practical opportunities prepare students to respond to the changing needs of the media industry and graduate as well-equipped and qualified journalism professionals.
