PROOFREADING, TRANSLATION, AND EDITING SERVICES

The following services are provided by the School of Foreign Languages as part of its Proofreading, Translation, and Editing Services:

• Proofreading/Editing: English-language proofreading of articles accepted for publication by academic journals, including necessary language corrections and revisions prior to publication.

• Translation: Translation of academic articles written in Turkish into English.

Article Editing/Proofreading or Translation Process

Article editing/proofreading and English translation services are provided under the Revolving Fund Enterprise of the Yozgat Bozok University School of Foreign Languages.

Following completion of the application, the service is generally completed within 7–10 days, and no later than 14 days, depending on the current workload.

The process consists of the following steps:

Step 1:
The English article for which editing/proofreading is requested, or the Turkish article to be translated into English, should be sent to the School of Foreign Languages as an email attachment, along with a statement indicating the requested service.

Step 2:
The School determines the service fee based on the word count of the article, assigns an ID number to the article, and sends this information to the applicant by email.

Step 3:
The applicant deposits the specified service fee into the relevant bank account. The article's ID number must be included in the payment description.

Step 4:
The bank receipt should be sent to yabancidilleryo@bozok.edu.tr.

Step 5:
Once the editing/proofreading or translation process has been completed, the certificate of service and the final version of the article are sent to the applicant by email.
