As of 2026, our university has introduced innovative initiatives aimed at improving the quality of foreign language education and ensuring that all our students can benefit from such education effectively. In this context, our School has made plans to offer a range of foreign language courses.

As the School of Foreign Languages at Yozgat Bozok University, our primary aim in offering these courses is to provide students and all participants with a high-quality and accessible learning environment in which they can develop their foreign language skills. To support language proficiency, which plays an important role in achieving academic and professional goals, we combine exam-oriented preparation with general English instruction.

While carefully designing our course content to meet different needs and proficiency levels, we also make every effort to keep course fees as affordable as possible. In this way, we aim to make quality language education accessible to a wider audience and contribute to participants’ academic and professional development.

Courses Offered

YDS–YÖKDİL Preparation Courses are designed specifically to prepare participants for the YDS and YÖKDİL examinations. These exams are important for those pursuing academic careers in Türkiye, planning to apply for master’s or doctoral programs, or requiring a language score for positions in public institutions. The exams assess grammar, vocabulary, and particularly reading comprehension; they do not include speaking or writing components. Therefore, the courses focus primarily on test-taking techniques, paragraph analysis, and exam strategies.

TIPDİL Preparation Courses are designed for candidates in the healthcare field who wish to take the TIPDİL examination. This exam is specifically designed for doctors and other healthcare professionals and focuses on medical English texts and terminology. It may be required for academic advancement and can provide certain professional advantages. Throughout the course, participants learn general exam strategies while also developing a strong command of medical terminology.

IELTS Preparation Course is designed to prepare participants for the internationally recognized IELTS examination. IELTS is widely used by those who wish to study, work, or immigrate abroad. It assesses four core language skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Accordingly, the course goes beyond test-taking strategies and includes activities specifically designed to develop speaking and writing skills.

A2–B1 General English Courses, on the other hand, focus on overall language development rather than exam preparation and cover the relevant levels of the CEFR. At these levels, learners develop the ability to communicate in everyday situations, understand simple texts, and express themselves more fluently. In addition to providing a solid foundation before progressing to advanced-level examinations or courses, these courses support more effective communication in professional life and future career opportunities.
