Mission

The mission of the Department of Plant Protection at Yozgat Bozok University is to educate competent, innovative, and ethically responsible agricultural engineers and researchers who are capable of developing environmentally friendly, sustainable, and science-based solutions to insect pests, plant diseases, and weeds that threaten plant health. The department is committed to effectively utilizing emerging technologies and contributing to society and the agricultural sector through excellence in education, scientific research, and community engagement.

Vision

The vision of the Department of Plant Protection is to become a leading academic department recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in education and scientific research; to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to plant protection challenges in agriculture using modern scientific approaches; to promote practices that protect both the environment and human health; and to maintain strong collaboration and effective knowledge exchange with all stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
