Student Admission to the Undergraduate Program
Students are admitted to the Department of Plant Protection Undergraduate Program through several pathways.
1. Through the University Entrance Examination (YKS):
Students are placed in the department according to their scores in the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS), administered by ÖSYM, and their preferences. Student quotas are determined by ÖSYM. For more information about the YKS, please visit the official ÖSYM website.

2. Through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS):
Students who have graduated from relevant programs of vocational schools may also be admitted to our department through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS) administered by ÖSYM. For each admitted student, courses previously completed at the associate degree level are evaluated based on their course content and credits. Following course exemptions, the student's academic placement and course adaptation procedures are carried out in accordance with the relevant decisions of the University Senate.

3. Through Horizontal Transfer:
Students enrolled in a Department of Plant Protection or a similarly named department at universities whose equivalence is recognized by YÖK may apply for horizontal transfer to our department. Applications are made in accordance with the regulations issued by YÖK. Quotas and application requirements are announced on the Yozgat Bozok University website.
