Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established in 1994 within Erciyes University, and was transferred to Bozok University upon its establishment in 2006. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was founded in 2007 and, following the creation of the necessary infrastructure, began offering education and training in the 2009-2010 academic year by admitting students with an additional quota of 40.
