The METİGİN team, established within the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Yozgat Bozok University, proudly represented its university by competing in the finals of the TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan (Blue Homeland) category this year under the slogan "From the Steppe to the Blue Homeland."
Mentored by Res. Asst. Fatih Furkan Arslan and led by Team Captain İlham Jaferzade, the METİGİN team attracted great attention with the project they presented during the final stage. The team's booth was visited by leading figures of the Turkish defense industry.
Among the visitors were Baykar General Manager Haluk Bayraktar, Baykar Chairman of the Board Selçuk Bayraktar, President of Defence Industries (SSB) Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, and ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol. During their visit to the booth, the officials closely examined the work of the METİGİN team and expressed their appreciation for the young engineers.
With the support and motivation received, the team aims to continue its work relentlessly.
