The Coordination of Out-of-Area Elective Courses was established by the decision of the university senate numbered 9 dated 28/06/2018, by determining the application procedures and principles. A new course pool was created and became active in the 2020-2021 Academic Year.

These are courses that support personal development and develop transferable competencies in addition to social service, history, agriculture, science, culture and art sensitivity, sports and health activities, environmental awareness, science and technology, with quality and variety appropriate to the interests and competencies of the students. These courses are approved by the boards and are collected under the group of "Out-of-Area Elective Courses" in the relevant semesters in the curriculum of each department and offered to students.
