As the Department of Economics at Yozgat Bozok University, we are proud to have achieved a significant milestone in line with our vision of continuously improving the quality of education. Following a comprehensive evaluation conducted by the STAR Association for Accreditation and Rating of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Basic Sciences, our department has been accredited for a period of five years as of March 11, 2026. This accreditation demonstrates that our undergraduate program meets national quality standards and is implemented in accordance with the principle of continuous improvement.

In addition, our Faculty received the "Accessibility in Education (Green Flag)" Award in 2022, reflecting our commitment to providing an accessible, inclusive, and barrier-free learning environment for all students.

Our Department offers Undergraduate, Master's (Thesis), and Doctoral Programs. Our programs are delivered through a contemporary educational approach that combines a strong theoretical foundation in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, international economics, public finance, money and banking, development economics, applied economics, and related disciplines with analytical thinking, research, and practical skills.

The language of instruction in our Department is Turkish. In order to enable our students to follow international academic developments, courses, scientific activities, and academic events aimed at improving foreign language proficiency are also supported.

Our Department aims to educate qualified economists who possess a thorough understanding of economic theories, are capable of analyzing current national and international developments, making data-driven decisions, and producing sustainable solutions.
