In general, the Quality Commission’s duty is to plan and monitor the quality assurance processes carried out in the department in line with BKYS, to coordinate the implementation of quality activities within the scope of KAP, to develop necessary improvement recommendations by taking into account internal and external stakeholder views and quality criteria, and to contribute to the preparation/monitoring processes of BİDR related to the department’s quality work.

Strategic Plan and Accreditation Commission

In general, the Strategic Plan and Accreditation Commission’s duty is to evaluate educational and research activities in alignment with the department’s strategic plan targets within the framework of relevant legislation; to review related agenda items of the department board in terms of strategic alignment and provide opinions; to support the monitoring/updating of the curriculum, program educational objectives, and program learning outcomes in accreditation processes in line with FEDEK criteria; and to coordinate the required evaluation and evidence documentation within the scope of ÖDR. |

In general, the Education and Training Commission’s duty is, within the framework of relevant legislation, to plan, carry out, and finalize all educational and instructional procedures for the department’s students (including, in particular, scholarship processes, archiving/filing procedures, and summer school practices); to coordinate efforts for monitoring, evaluating, and updating the curriculum in line with internal/external stakeholder feedback and needs analyses; and to ensure the necessary coordination by using existing resources effectively and efficiently throughout these processes. |

Academic Incentive Application and Review Commission

In general, the Unit Academic Incentive Application and Review Commission’s duty is to check the documents and materials related to applications submitted to the department to benefit from the academic incentive in accordance with the relevant procedures and principles; to review and evaluate scientific activities on a program/field basis; to inform applicants of any required corrections or completions; and to submit the review results to the Dean’s Office through official procedures. (The composition of the commission may be updated each year according to the academic performance/organizational status of the relevant unit.) |

Horizontal Transfer and Course Adaptation Commission

In general, the Horizontal Transfer and Adaptation Commission’s duty is, in accordance with relevant legislation and university/faculty implementation principles, to evaluate inter-departmental transfer, horizontal transfer, and adaptation requests; to examine the compatibility of students’ prior learning in terms of courses and credits/ECTS; to make the necessary adaptation/course equivalency arrangements; and to notify the relevant academic/administrative units of the outcomes. |

Graduation and Grade Review Commission

In general, the Graduation and Grade Review Commission’s duty is, within the framework of relevant legislation, to examine the transcripts of students who have earned the right to graduate for control purposes by comparing them with the education plan; to review compliance—especially for course matchings under the Farabi, Mevlana, and Erasmus exchange programs—with the relevant faculty board decisions and examples; and to carry out the evaluation that forms the basis for the decision-making process regarding the graduation procedures of students determined to have successfully completed the education plan. |

Promotion and Social Activities Commission

In general, the Promotion and Social Activities Commission’s duty is to plan and conduct the department’s promotional activities; to coordinate the organization of department seminars and academic/student-focused events; to carry out surveys to support student relations and feedback processes; and to ensure the regular follow-up and updating of the department’s web pages and the effective sharing of announcements. |

Double Major / Minor Commission

In general, the Minor/Double Major Commission’s duty is to conduct Minor Program (YAP) and Double Major Program (ÇAP) processes within the framework of relevant legislation and university implementation principles; to evaluate quotas and application requirements; to ensure coordination with other departments and conduct program-related discussions; and to ensure that students are properly informed throughout the application/placement processes. |

Internship Commission

The Internship Commission plans and administers internship processes within the framework of Yozgat Bozok University’s Applied Training Directive and the department’s internship principles; it guides students on creating applications via the SYS (Internship Management System), uploading documents to the system, and completing the approval process, and monitors compliance with the internship schedule. The Commission also checks the proper preparation of internship documents-such as the internship notebook, employer evaluation, and excuse/justification forms-and oversees their upload to the system and/or submission to the department chair’s office; it ensures that internships are completed in accordance with continuity, absence, and excuse provisions and records the process accordingly.
