Our department was established on 23/11/2021.

Department of Eastern Languages ​​and Literatures was opened within the scope of Russian Language and Literature and Japanese Language and Literature Programs.

Education and research activities in our department are provided by 1 Doctor Lecturer, 1 Research Assistant Doctor and 1 Research Assistant.

Our department aims to develop the human power of the region of interest in the fields of Russian Language and Literature and Japanese Language and Literature. Aware of the fact that intercultural communication is inevitable in line with the conditions of the 21st century and the importance of the language's role in ensuring cultural communication, the main duty of the department is to disseminate these two languages, such as Russian Language and Japanese Language, which dominate a large geography in the world.
It is extremely important to open these departments within Yozgat Bozok University in order to bring the literary and historical backgrounds of the mentioned societies into our language and to raise individuals who can use this language.
