Department of Primary Education

The Department of Primary Education consists of two divisions: the Division of Early Childhood Education and the Division of Primary School Education.

Vision

The vision of our department is to become a distinguished and leading department that provides high-quality education in line with international standards; continuously follows and contributes to developments in its field; educates dedicated teachers and academics who can play an active role in promoting lifelong learning; maintains strong and mutually beneficial relationships with its stakeholders; and fosters pioneering individuals through original thinking and scholarly work. The department ultimately strives to be an institution whose students, graduates, and academic staff are proud to be a part of.

Mission

The mission of our department is to educate contemporary, competent, idealistic, inquisitive, and analytical teachers and academics who respect human values, closely follow developments in education and teaching, and contribute to the development of our country. In addition, the department aims to follow global developments in its field and contribute to these developments; conduct collaborative projects with various national and international institutions and organizations to support the professional development of students and academic staff; and provide the necessary academic and professional support to teachers in our country.
