Graduates who successfully complete all the requirements of the program receive an "Associate Degree in Computer Programming". This degree corresponds to the 5th level of education within the scope of the European Qualifications Framework.
LEVEL OF DEGREE
Associate Degree
ADMISSION AND REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
To apply to this program, candidates must take the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) conducted by OSYM and obtain a sufficient score in the Basic Proficiency Test (TYT).
RULES ON THE RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING (FORMAL, IN-FORMAL, NON-FORMAL)
In Turkish Higher Education institutions, the recognition of prior formal learning, vertical, horizontal, and intra-university transfers are carried out within the scope of the "REGULATION ON THE PRINCIPLES OF TRANSFER BETWEEN ASSOCIATE AND BACHELOR'S DEGREE PROGRAMS, DOUBLE MAJOR, MINOR AND INTER-INSTITUTIONAL CREDIT TRANSFER IN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS" determined by the Council of Higher Education. In Turkey, the recognition process of non-formal, certificate-based, or experience-based (in-formal and non-formal) learning outside of formal education institutions is still in its early stages. For this reason, the recognition of prior learning has not been fully implemented in all programs at Yozgat Bozok University. However, exemption exams are held at the beginning of each academic term for courses such as Computer, English, and German included in the education plans of the programs. Students who believe they meet the expected qualifications for these courses have the right to take the exams. Students who take the exam and succeed are exempted from the relevant courses in the curriculum.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS AND RULES
Students who successfully complete all courses of the two-year (four-semester) education program (equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS) and the 20-working-day compulsory professional internship receive an associate degree.
PROGRAM PROFILE

EXAMINATIONS, MEASUREMENT AND EVALUATION
For each student to register for courses at the beginning of the semester and to be able to take the final exam, they must have attended at least 70% of the theoretical classes and at least 80% of the practical applications. For each course, students are subjected to mid-term studies (midterm exam, quiz, homework, project, application, or similar studies) and a final exam. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points. For courses held on a semester basis, at least one midterm exam, a second activity, and a final exam are held for midterm activities. The percentage weights of the midterm activities and the final exam are determined by the instructor/faculty member giving the course, and the student's success grade is determined by their total.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students who successfully complete all of the courses equivalent to a total of 120 ECTS available in the program and obtain a weighted grade point average of at least 2.0 out of 4.00 are entitled to graduate. In addition to successfully completing the courses, completing a 20-working-day compulsory summer internship is a requirement for graduation.
