The scientific event titled "1st National Physiotherapy Symposium: Neuromuscular Diseases and Rehabilitation", hosted by Kayseri University İncesu Ayşe and Saffet Arslan Vocational School of Health Services, was held. Our School's students and academic staff participated in the symposium, in which our University was also among the stakeholders.

During the symposium, distinguished academics in the field gave presentations under headings such as clinical assessment, biomechanical analysis, treatment strategies, and rehabilitation approaches. The event provided our students with the opportunity to follow current approaches to the assessment and rehabilitation of neuromuscular diseases and to establish scientific interaction with academics from different institutions.

We thank our University, especially Rector Prof. Dr. Evren Yaşar, for enabling our students to participate in this qualified scientific event and providing the necessary support; and Assoc. Prof. Hanife Abakay and Asst. Prof. Özge Baykan Çopuroğlu for their valuable efforts in the invitation and organization.

We believe that participation in such national-scale scientific events will make important contributions to our students' academic accumulation and professional development.
