The Department of Business Administration commenced its academic activities in the 1995–1996 academic year with 52 students admitted to the program, becoming the first department established within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yozgat Bozok University. With its long-standing academic heritage and forward-looking vision, the Department has developed into a strong academic unit. Continuously expanding and renewing itself since its establishment, the Department continues its academic activities not only through its undergraduate program but also through the master’s and doctoral programs offered under the Institute of Graduate Studies, thereby further strengthening its academic depth and scholarly productivity.
The Department is committed to providing students with the fundamental principles and practices of contemporary business administration through an educational approach that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application. Its primary mission is to educate individuals who are capable of adapting to global competitive conditions, possess strong analytical thinking skills, adhere to ethical values, and embrace innovation. Through up-to-date and dynamic course content, practice-oriented activities conducted in interaction with the business sector, and a student-centered educational approach, our graduates distinguish themselves as highly qualified professionals who are valued and sought after in the business world.
The Department’s academic staff consists of 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 11 assistant professors, 2 lecturers, and 1 research assistant, all of whom are specialists in their respective fields. With its strong and experienced academic structure, the Department maintains high quality standards in both teaching and research activities. The scholarly studies conducted by our academic staff at national and international levels further enhance the academic reputation and standing of the Department.
As a reflection of our strong academic infrastructure and quality-oriented educational approach, the Department has been accredited for a period of five years, effective from March 11, 2026, following the rigorous evaluation conducted by the STAR Association for Accreditation and Rating in the Social Sciences, Humanities and Basic Sciences.
