Our department commenced its academic activities in the 1995–1996 academic year as the first department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Yozgat Bozok University, with an initial cohort of fifty-two students admitted to the Department of Business Administration. With its well-established history and forward-looking vision, our department has evolved into a strong academic institution. Since its foundation, it has continuously grown and renewed itself, expanding its academic scope by offering master’s and doctoral programs under the Graduate School, thereby enhancing its academic depth and scientific productivity.

Our department aims to present the fundamental principles and concepts of modern business administration through an integrated approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical application. It is committed to educating individuals who can adapt to global competitive conditions, think analytically, uphold ethical values, and embrace innovation. Through up-to-date and dynamic course content, practice-oriented activities conducted in close interaction with the industry, and a student-centered educational approach, our graduates stand out as well-qualified professionals preferred in the business world.

The academic staff of our department consists of 2 professors, 2 associate professors, 11 assistant professors (doctoral faculty members), 2 lecturers, and 1 research assistant. With this strong and experienced academic team, our department maintains high standards in both education and research. The national and international scientific studies carried out by our faculty members further enhance the reputation and academic prestige of our department.

As a testament to our strong academic infrastructure and quality-oriented education approach, our department has been accredited for a period of five years, effective from March 11, 2026, following a rigorous evaluation conducted by the STAR Social, Humanities and Basic Sciences Accreditation and Rating Association. This accreditation not only certifies that our undergraduate program meets national quality standards but also demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.
