The Department of Mechanical Engineering, one of the fundamental departments of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Yozgat Bozok University, was established in 1992 (under Law No. 3837, enacted on 3 July 1992) within Erciyes University under the name “Department of Mechanical Engineering, Yozgat Faculty of Engineering and Architecture” and began its educational activities in 1994. Since 2006, it has continued its educational activities as the “Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Yozgat Bozok University.” As one of the long-established departments of our university, the Department of Mechanical Engineering continues its activities with a total of 19 academic staff members, comprising 5 professors, 3 associate professors, 9 assistant professors, and 2 research assistants.
