Our department offers both master's and doctoral programs, allowing graduates to specialize in their chosen fields within civil engineering and pursue careers in academia if they wish. Civil engineering graduates can generally work as field engineers or project managers in structures such as buildings/residences, highways, railways, subways, bridges, tunnels, docks, dams, irrigation, wastewater, and sewage treatment. Civil engineers can also establish their own businesses and undertake project and contracting work. In addition, they have job descriptions in many private and public institutions and organizations. In the public sector, they can work primarily in Provincial Special Administrations and Municipalities, as well as the General Directorate of Highways and Railways, the State Water Works, the Ministry of Transport, and the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and their affiliated provincial directorates.
