Development of a Virtual Tour for the Promotion of Yozgat Çamlığı National Park

The project titled “Development of a Virtual Tour for the Promotion of Yozgat Çamlığı National Park,” supported by the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Unit of Yozgat Bozok University during the 2025–2026 period, is being carried out by Assistant Professor Handan AYTEKİN, a faculty member of the Faculty of Tourism.

As part of the project, an interactive virtual tour application is being developed to promote the natural, cultural, and recreational values of Yozgat Çamlığı National Park through digital technologies. The application is intended to enable visitors to explore the national park online before their visit, increase destination awareness, support promotional activities, and contribute to the tourism potential of the region.

In addition to contributing to the development of digital tourism applications, the project aims to support the promotion of Yozgat’s natural and cultural heritage to wider audiences and thereby contribute to destination marketing and a sustainable approach to tourism.

Promoting Karanlıkdere Valley’s Vineyards and Grape Products as Gastronomic Tourism Products within the Scope of Agritourism

The project titled “Promoting Karanlıkdere Valley’s Vineyards and Grape Products as Gastronomic Tourism Products within the Scope of Agritourism,” supported by the Scientific Research Projects (BAP) Coordination Unit of Yozgat Bozok University during the 2025–2026 period, is being carried out by Assistant Professor Muhabbet ÇELİK, a faculty member of the Faculty of Tourism at Yozgat Bozok University.

As part of the project, the viticultural culture of Karanlıkdere Valley, local grape varieties, and traditional grape-based products are being examined in terms of their gastronomic value. Studies are also being conducted to develop these products in ways that can enhance the destination’s appeal within the scope of agritourism. In addition, the project aims to preserve the region’s gastronomic heritage, support local producers, encourage rural development, and develop new tourism products in line with a sustainable tourism approach.

The project is expected to contribute to promoting Karanlıkdere Valley as an agritourism and gastronomic tourism destination, increasing the added value of local products, and supporting the region’s economic and tourism development.
