In line with the mission and vision of our university, the primary objective of the Faculty of Education at Yozgat Bozok University is to educate teachers and academics who are committed to the core values of the Republic, focus on learning, teaching, and human development, and are capable of renewing and developing themselves. Our goal is to cultivate individuals who can think critically, are open to innovation, can guide society, are at peace with themselves, and are free from concerns about the future.

As a faculty, one of our main objectives is to train active and productive teachers who are open to change and development, responsible, committed to national and spiritual values, possess high-level thinking and problem-solving skills, have a strong command of the theories, concepts, and phenomena in their fields, and can offer the most suitable learning environments to their students under all conditions.

The Faculty of Education began admitting students in the 2013-2014 academic year. Currently, the Faculty continues its activities with 5 departments and 11 sub-departments. It offers undergraduate programs in Classroom Education, Preschool Education, Science Education, Primary School Mathematics Education, Social Studies Education, Social Studies and Turkish Language Education, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, and English Language Education. It also offers graduate programs in Educational Programs and Instruction, Educational Administration, Science Education, Mathematics Education, Classroom Education, and Social Studies Education, including Master’s (Thesis and Non-Thesis) and PhD programs.

As of the 2023-2024 academic year, the undergraduate enrollment capacity of the Faculty is 100% filled, with 1,717 students currently enrolled. The student-to-academic staff ratio in the Faculty is 35:1, which is close to the national average of 30 students per academic staff in undergraduate programs. Efforts to further improve this ratio continue.

The Faculty has integrated modern information technologies into its educational activities, providing students and faculty members with access to technological tools. All buildings on the central campus are equipped with wireless internet access, technological classrooms, and computer laboratories designed for courses in communication technologies. The Faculty continues to conduct educational and teaching activities in accordance with the needs of the current era, utilizing its existing physical capacity and facilities.

The Faculty has a total of 35 classrooms, including 15 equipped with projectors and 14 with smart boards. Among these classrooms are 2 language laboratories, 2 computer laboratories, 1 physics laboratory, 1 chemistry laboratory, and 1 drama hall. Additionally, there is a shared study and reading room, a conference hall for various academic events, and an academic meeting room available to students and faculty members. The Faculty provides 69 individual offices for academic staff, 10 offices for administrative personnel and management, as well as a canteen, 2 prayer rooms, 1 stationery unit, 15 computers in shared waiting areas, and a foyer for students' use.

As the Faculty of Education, our goals include reducing the student-to-faculty ratio to the desired level, increasing the number of scientific research and publications, and further strengthening cooperation with public and private institutions.
