Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Education was established by the Council of Ministers on 10/11/2008, based on the letter dated 04/11/2008 and numbered 25088 from the Ministry of National Education. The Faculty of Education, which carries out its educational and teaching activities at the Yozgat Bozok University Erdoğan Akdağ Campus, began accepting students in the 2013-2014 academic year.

In line with the mission and vision of our university, the primary goal of the Faculty of Education at Yozgat Bozok University is to train teachers and academics who are committed to the fundamental values of the Republic, focused on learning, teaching, and human development, self-renewing, improving, critical thinkers, open to innovation, able to guide society, at peace with themselves, free from future anxiety, and equipped to contribute positively to their communities.

As a faculty, our main goals include educating our students to become active, productive, responsible teachers who are open to change and development, adhere to national and moral values, possess advanced thinking and problem-solving skills, master the theories, concepts, and phenomena of their fields, and can create the most appropriate learning environment for their students in any situation and condition.

The Faculty of Education consists of 5 departments and 11 major scientific branches, 8 of which have undergraduate programs. These departments include: Science Education, Primary School Mathematics Teaching, English Language Teaching, Preschool Teaching, Guidance and Psychological Counseling, Classroom Teaching, Social Studies Teaching, and Turkish Language Teaching. Additionally, there are double major programs available for Social Studies Teaching and Classroom Teaching undergraduate programs.

In addition to undergraduate teacher training programs, Yozgat Bozok University Graduate School of Education offers master’s programs with thesis in Educational Programs and Teaching, Educational Management, Science Education, Mathematics Education, Classroom Education, and Social Studies Education; non-thesis master’s programs in Educational Programs and Teaching, Educational Management, and Classroom Education; and doctoral programs in Educational Management, Educational Programs and Teaching.

The faculty employs a total of 53 academic staff, including 10 research assistants, 16 assistant professors, 19 associate professors, and 8 professors. In addition, 5 administrative staff and 4 auxiliary personnel work within the faculty.
