Our mission is to generate knowledge at national and international levels, share this knowledge with the scientific community, students, and farmers/producers, produce solutions to problems related to our field, and be a department that its members are proud to be a part of by presenting up-to-date information in a high-quality and contemporary manner in our courses.
Our vision is to consider national priorities by examining the efficient use of soil and water resources and the provision of plant production under optimal conditions from a scientific perspective, within the framework of sustainable agriculture and multifaceted food security at international standards.
