Our department has a Soil Preparation Unit. In this unit, soil samples are dried, pounded with a wooden mallet, passed through the sieve opening required for analysis, and stored. This unit also houses experiments of a scale suitable for laboratory, climate chamber, or greenhouse conditions. Some pictures of the Soil Preparation Unit are shown below.

Our department conducts its research and application activities in experimental fields under the authority and supervision of our university's Agricultural Application and Research Center Directorate (TUAM). These fields are located in Yerköy district (2756 decares), Gedikhasanlı locality of Sorgun district (114 decares), Sarıkaya district (104 decares), and Topçu village of the Central district (30 decares).
