Our department has an Electronics Laboratory equipped with modern test and measurement devices, where both theoretical and practical training can be given in the fields of Electronics, Automation and Communication.
The general structure, equipment and functionality of the laboratory are as follows:
1. PLC and Control Systems Training Sets
In our laboratory, there are Siemens-based PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) training sets. These sets (manufactured by Yıldırım Elektronik) contain digital/analog input-output modules, oscillator, DC power supply integration and connection interfaces to simulate industrial automation signals. It allows students to practice factory automation, logic control and SCADA systems.
2. Computers and Simulation Field
Our laboratory is designed to have a computer (PC) at each student desk. This area; It allows active running of circuit drawing/simulation programs and PLC programming software (TIA Portal etc.). Opposite the computer tables, there is also a projection system and a blackboard for theoretical explanations and presentations.
3. Electronic Measurement and Test Tables
There are technical workbenches (experiment tables) in our laboratory. At stations:
- Digital Oscilloscopes for signal tracking and wavelength analysis,
- Laboratory Power Supplies adjusted to provide energy to circuits,
- Digital Multimeters are available for current, voltage and resistance measurement.
- There are modular experiment sets and component boxes neatly stored on the upper shelves of the tables. Additionally, there is a power cut (emergency stop) button on each table for emergencies.

Hanging at the entrance and walls of the laboratory; Information forms regarding the operating rules of the laboratory, occupational safety instructions and the academic accreditation/curriculum outputs of the department are also available.
