The application to establish a community named "Green Energy Community" was approved and became official at the Culture and Arts Commission Meeting No. 10 dated 28.04.2022.

Green Energy Community members:

To help students train themselves in the effective and efficient use of renewable energy resources, which we refer to as green energy, for the future of our country,

To contribute to their development as individuals with investigative and creative qualities,

To develop projects related to green energy resources, to share information about green energy resources and their use with the official institutions and organizations of our region, as well as university communities, associations and non-governmental organizations within the province or outside the province, and to organize joint events with these organizations if necessary,

To contribute to their professional, social, personal, scientific, artistic and cultural development with the awareness of national sovereignty in line with Atatürk's principles,

The general aim is to meet the social needs of the community, such as rest and leisure, by providing opportunities within the limits of its possibilities.

Working Areas of the Community

1) Organizing meetings about Renewable Energy Resources,
2) Organizing trips to examine regional projects on site,
3) Organizing panels and scientific activities to explain the concept of green energy to the society,
4) Organizing awareness days and events on green energy
5) Developing renewable energy projects of our university
6) To represent our university in regional and national competitions by using their professional knowledge and experience.
