Requirements for Application and Admission to the Double Major Program

Associate degree students may apply to a second associate degree major program at the beginning of their second semester at the earliest, and at the beginning of their third semester at the latest. Undergraduate students applying to an associate degree second major program may apply at the beginning of their second semester at the earliest, and at the beginning of their fifth semester at the latest.

For a student to apply to a double major program:

  1. They must have successfully completed all courses taken in their primary diploma program up to the semester of application.

  2. They must have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.72.

  3. They must rank within the top 20 percent of their class in their primary diploma program and must not have received any suspension penalties.

  4. However, students who do not rank within the top 20 percent of their class in the primary program may still apply if their placement score is not lower than the base score (minimum entry requirement) of the target second major program for the year of application.
