Orientation Program for First-Year Students in the Big Data Analytics Program Held

An Orientation Program for first-year students of the Big Data Analytics Associate Degree Program, Department of Statistics, Yozgat Vocational School, Yozgat Bozok University, was successfully held as part of the 2026–2027 Academic Year.

The program was held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 09:30 in Classroom 1. It aimed to help newly enrolled students adapt to university life, become familiar with the academic processes, and gain a better understanding of the Big Data Analytics program.

During the orientation, students were informed about the structure and functioning of the university and vocational school, the program curriculum, course registration and academic processes, academic advising, student rights and responsibilities, assessment and evaluation procedures, and the academic and social opportunities provided by the university.

The students were also introduced to the educational objectives of the Big Data Analytics program, professional development opportunities, and potential career paths after graduation. The importance of actively participating in their education and continuously improving their professional and technical skills was emphasized.

The orientation program aimed to support students in adapting to university and departmental life and to help them make a confident and informed start to their educational journey in the field of Big Data Analytics.
