The Big Data Analyst Program, which began accepting students in the 2025-2026 academic year, aims to train experts who think analytically, are proficient in data-driven decision-making processes, and effectively utilize technology—all essential for the data age. Our program provides students with theoretical knowledge and practical training in data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization. Students gain the competencies required in the industry through courses such as Statistics, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Database Management Systems, Programming, Cloud Technologies, and Big Data Platforms.
Courses are taught both practically in our computer labs and theoretically in classrooms. Students develop the ability to analyze big data, transform it into meaningful information, and use this information in decision-making processes by working with real datasets. Our students have the opportunity to experience both statistical analysis software and big data processing platforms.
The aim of the program is that
by the end of the two-year associate degree program, our students will be able to:
- Proficient in data science and analytics concepts.
- Able to utilize big data technologies,
- Able to design databases and proficient in query languages.
- Able to build machine learning models,
- Capable of performing data visualization and reporting,
- The goal is for graduates to become professionals who can manage data in accordance with ethical and privacy regulations.
