Application and Admission Requirements for the Double Major Program

Associate degree students may apply for a second associate degree major program no earlier than the beginning of the second semester and no later than the beginning of the third semester; bachelor’s degree students may apply for a second associate degree major program no earlier than the beginning of the second semester and no later than the beginning of the fifth semester.

To be eligible to apply for the Double Major Program, a student must:

1. They must have successfully completed all courses taken in their major degree program up to the semester in which they apply for the dual major program,

2. Their Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) must be at least 2.72,

3. They must be ranked in the top 20 percent of their class in their major degree program and must not have received a suspension.

4. However, students who are not in the top 20 percent of their class in their primary major program may also apply to the second major program if they have a score that is at least equal to the minimum score required for the second major program in the year of application.
