Mission

As the Department of International Relations at Yozgat Bozok University, our mission is:

To contribute to the education and development of young scholars who are capable of analyzing problems on a scientific and theoretical basis; developing innovative solutions by taking into account the expanding range of issues and actors at both horizontal and vertical levels; adopting research as a fundamental principle in their lives; and completing their education by integrating local and global perspectives, while acquiring proficiency in at least one foreign language.

Our curriculum is designed within the multidisciplinary framework of the social sciences, while also focusing on a wide range of regional and country studies to promote specialization. The Department adopts an approach that closely follows contemporary developments in an increasingly globalized world and seeks to synthesize local and global perspectives.

As the Department of International Relations at Yozgat Bozok University, our vision is:

To increase both the number and the qualifications of International Relations graduates who will pursue careers in the public and private sectors in Türkiye and around the world. We aspire to rank among the leading International Relations departments in national and international indices and rankings that assess academic and educational quality.

In this regard, our aim is to educate competent, self-confident, globally aware, and lifelong-learning-oriented individuals and prepare them for successful careers in academia, the private sector, and public administration.
