Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture was established in 1992 (with the law numbered 3837 enacted on July 3, 1992) under the umbrella of Erciyes University with the name "Yozgat Faculty of Engineering and Architecture". Our Faculty, which started its education and training in 1994 by admitting students in the building constructed and donated to our University by Mr. Erdoğan AKDAĞ, a philanthropic businessman from Yozgat, became a part of Yozgat Bozok University with the establishment of Yozgat Bozok University in 2006. As of 2016, it has moved to its new building. Currently, it continues its education, training, and academic studies with the Departments of Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Architecture, and City and Regional Planning. The goal of our faculty is to train engineers and architects with high-quality education, who adhere to Atatürk's Principles and Reforms, comply with world standards, and can take on important roles in the development of our country. Our faculty is developing rapidly with the contemporary teaching tools and equipment, laboratories, computer and internet facilities provided by our Rectorate, the contributions of our Revolving Fund enterprise, and the devoted efforts of our academic staff. Accommodation, scholarship, transportation, research, sports, and cultural facilities are available and continue to be developed so that our students can be successful and happy in a beautiful environment.
