GENERAL INFORMATION

Department of Physics was first established in 1994 within the body of Erciyes University. Since the establishment of Bozok University in 2006, it continues its activities within the body of Bozok University. 11 academic staff, including 5 professors, 3 associate professors, 2 research assistants and 1 lecturer, continue their studies in our department. In the department, there are 6 sub-departments: Atomic and Molecular Physics, High Energy and Plasma Physics, General Physics, Solid State Physics, Mathematical Physics and Nuclear Physics. The department offers 6 laboratory courses for undergraduate students: Mechanics, Electricity-Magnetism, Modern Physics, Optics and Waves, and Electronics. In addition, there are 4 research laboratories where department members carry out their academic studies.
