HISTORY
Yozgat Bozok University was established on 01 March 2006 with Law No. 5467. With the founding law, the Faculty of Science and Arts, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, the Faculty of Agriculture, the Health School, the Vocational School and the Akdağmadeni Vocational School, which are within the body of Erciyes University, were connected to Yozgat Bozok University. In addition, Institutes of Science and Social Sciences were established.
Our department started its education as Erciyes University Yozgat Science and Arts Faculty, Physics Department in 1996-1997 academic year and still continues this education program as Yozgat Bozok University Science and Arts Faculty, Physics Department. Students who graduate from the Physics department receive a "Physicist" diploma. Education-Training curricula are designed to provide contemporary and practical education. In this program, it is aimed that our students receive advanced professional education.
