The Faculty of Education at Yozgat Bozok University was established in 2008 and conducts its educational activities at the Erdoğan Akdağ Campus. The Turkish Language Teaching Undergraduate Program began accepting its first students in the 2018-2019 academic year. Our Division offers formal education. Most of our graduates are employed as teachers in primary schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education, private schools, and tutoring centers.

The Division's aim is to train students to become competent and efficient teachers with a scientific perspective, intellectual curiosity, and proficiency in the Turkish language.

The mission of the Division of Turkish Language Education is to provide the necessary infrastructure for Turkish language education and teaching, to closely monitor all innovations related to the field of Turkish language education, to follow domestic and international publications, to utilize technology; to conduct research on disciplines under the umbrella of Turkish language education, to investigate how the achievements of these disciplines can be more effectively delivered within Turkish language lessons, and to train responsible teacher candidates who are highly knowledgeable in Turkish language teaching methods and techniques, inquisitive, research-oriented, and possess strong communication skills, and who can transfer these skills to their students. The mission is to train Turkish language teachers who are committed to the general aims of Turkish National Education and Atatürk's Principles and Reforms, and who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey aware of their rights and responsibilities.

The vision of the Division of Turkish Language Education is to provide high-quality education in Turkish language teaching and training, thereby cultivating Turkish language teachers and academics who are scientifically minded, open to innovation, possess Atatürk's intellectual framework, and can utilize contemporary information technologies, in line with the country's needs. It also aims to follow global developments in Turkish language education and teaching, bringing new methods and techniques to our country, participating in projects related to Turkish language education, citizenship education, and human rights, and collaborating and communicating with domestic and international organizations and institutions that can contribute to the professional development of prospective Turkish language teachers.
