Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Communication was established on February 2, 2009, pursuant to the Council of Ministers Decision No. 2009/14641. The Faculty comprises the Departments of Communication Sciences, Radio, Television and Cinema, Journalism, and Public Relations and Advertising. The Faculty admitted its first students in 2017 and has since expanded its academic staff while hosting a wide range of academic and research activities. In 2024, the Department of Communication Sciences was renamed the Department of New Media and Communication. With its continuously enhanced technological infrastructure, the Faculty has developed an educational environment well suited to contemporary communication technologies.
Throughout this process, the Faculty has continued to carry out significant academic and social activities. With an academic staff of 25 members, the Faculty maintains its educational and training activities and aims to provide students with high-quality, up-to-date, and contemporary education.
