Welcome to our website.

As the Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Yozgat Bozok University, I am delighted to welcome you and to have the opportunity to address you through these lines.

At the Faculty of Communication, we are committed to the Principles of Atatürk and the values of the Republic. Our aim is to contribute to the development of self-confident, well-equipped, visionary individuals who are aware of the importance and responsibilities of their profession and who will play an active role in shaping the future of our country. In pursuit of this goal, our Departments of Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising, Radio, Television and Cinema, and New Media and Communication continue to move forward with confidence toward becoming leading departments in their respective fields, not only in Türkiye but also internationally. With a broad perspective shaped by the combined efforts of our administration, academic staff, students, and shared ideas, we will continue striving to position our Faculty among the best in its field.

From theoretical courses and practical training to scientific events and social activities, our Faculty places great importance on individual freedom, ethical values, social unity and integrity, environmental awareness, and sensitivity to social issues. Accordingly, we continue to make the necessary investments to uphold and strengthen these values. Courtesy, empathy, respect, understanding, tolerance, and attentive listening—all of which lie at the very heart of communication—form the foundation not only of our administrative approach but also of our relationships with all stakeholders, particularly our students and members of the Faculty.

With its dynamic and young academic staff, who continuously update their knowledge and expertise, our Faculty provides the infrastructure necessary to ensure that students graduate with the professional competence, knowledge, and experience they need. We also attach great importance to helping our students develop diverse perspectives. In addition to theoretical education, we aim to provide every student with meaningful practical experience. Through our News, Film, and Advertising and Public Relations Workshops, as well as our continually improving physical and social facilities, we prepare our students confidently and comprehensively for professional life after graduation.

First and foremost as an academic, and then as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication, I would like to emphasize that, in line with our mission and vision, both my personal goal and our Faculty’s strategic aspiration can be summarized in the phrase “Making Water Lilies Bloom in the Steppe.” Every student who joins our Faculty is a valuable individual to us. Our responsibility is to make the best possible use of our resources and to ensure that every graduate of Yozgat Bozok University Faculty of Communication can sincerely say, “I am glad I chose this Faculty.”

In this regard, I would especially like to express my sincere gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. Evren YAŞAR, for his continued support of our Faculty, his confidence in us, and his contributions to ensuring that our students receive the high-quality education they deserve under the best possible conditions. I would also like to thank all my colleagues who contribute to our Faculty, regardless of their role, and most especially our dear students, who inspire me every day to strive for better, illuminate my path with the brightness in their eyes, and enrich my life through their presence.
