My dear students,

Welcome to Yozgat Bozok University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Economics.

Our department was established in April 2018. Our department has two main branches: Agricultural Business Administration and Agricultural Policy and Extension. Education and research activities in our department are provided by 2 Associate Professors, 3 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant. Our department aims to train the qualified human resources needed in the field of Agricultural Economics. 

The main goal of our department is to train Agricultural Economists who are strong, dynamic and experienced academic staff, high-quality and constantly updated curricula, who care about ethical values, have high self-confidence, are prone to teamwork, have developed social communication skills and analytical problem-solving skills, are conscious about the protection of natural resources, are open to changing technology and methods and have a flexible perspective, and are equipped to contribute to the development of the country's agriculture at a high level by adopting lifelong learning as their goal.

Under the consultancy of the Department of Agricultural Economics, the UNIKOP student community carries out activities. Within the scope of bilateral cooperation, the opportunity for overseas experience with Erasmus+ is also offered. If you are organized and proactive, you have the opportunity to take part in nationally and internationally supported projects with researchers. 

The basic understanding of our department, as in our university, is to be student-centered in every field.
