Students from the Akdağmadeni Vocational School participated in the KARİYERFEST’26 events, organized by the Yozgat Bozok University Career and Alumni Center Directorate to connect students with representatives from the business world, industry professionals, and career opportunities.

As part of the events held on October 13, 2026, at the Erdoğan AKDAĞ Congress and Culture Center, our students had the opportunity to gain valuable insights into career planning by attending panels and talks featuring experts from various sectors.

A panel themed "Technology, Entrepreneurship, and Career" was held within the scope of the event, moderated by our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Evren YAŞAR. Representatives from KDE Bilişim Elektronik ve Güvenlik Teknolojileri San. Tic. A.Ş., ASELSAN Sivas, and Trendyol shared their perspectives on technology, entrepreneurship, the defense industry, digital commerce, and career opportunities in the business world.

The panel also addressed key factors employers consider during recruitment processes, as well as the importance of professional competencies, personal development, and career planning. By drawing on the knowledge and experience of industry representatives, our students gained a better understanding of the expectations of the business world.

Additionally, a talk titled "Lives Shaped by the Lathe: Career Stories from the Heart of Production" was held as part of the program. During this session, Yalçın PASLI, a representative from TEZMAKSAN, shared information regarding career opportunities in the manufacturing sector, professional experiences, and how lessons learned in the workplace contribute to career development. The KARİYERFEST’26 events-which contribute to the professional development of Akdağmadeni Vocational School students, enhance their career awareness, and allow them to gain firsthand insight into the business world-offered a significant opportunity for students to connect the knowledge acquired during their education with the expectations of the industry.
