An awareness-raising training session was organized by the Yozgat Provincial Security Directorate’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch at our Akdağmadeni Vocational School to educate students about social and digital risks.
Held on September 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the School’s Conference Hall and attended by approximately 190 students, the training covered topics such as substance abuse, cybersecurity, illegal betting, cyberbullying, cyber addiction, the role of social media in our lives, and combating online betting, games of chance, and gambling.
During the session, students were informed about combating addiction, risks encountered in the digital environment, safe internet usage, and the individual and societal impacts of online betting and gambling activities. Emphasis was also placed on raising awareness regarding these risks and the importance of developing informed behaviors.
We extend our thanks to the personnel of the Yozgat Provincial Security Directorate’s Anti-Narcotic Crimes Branch for this valuable training, which contributes to raising our students as informed, responsible individuals with high social awareness.
As Akdağmadeni Vocational School, we will continue to conduct educational and awareness-raising activities that support our students' personal, social, and professional development.
